his grace is an ocean

He is jealous for me
Loves like a hurricane
I am a tree
Bending beneath
The weight of his wind and mercy
When all of a sudden
I am unaware of these
Afflictions eclipsed by glory
And I realize how beautiful you are
And how great your afflictions for me

Oh how he loves us so
Oh how he loves us
How he loves us so

Yea He loves us
Oh how

We are his portion
And he is our prize
Drawn to redemption by the grace in his eyes
If grace is an ocean we're all sinking
So heaven meats earth like a sloppy wet kiss
And my heart burns violently inside of my chest
I don't have time to maintain these regrets
When I think about the way
He loves us

this song has been my vice all week.  he's grace is an ocean, and we're all sinking.  i want to sink as fast i can into our Father's grace.  how beautiful is that?  i have read crazy love and heaven is for real   in the past two days.  these books are amazing.  i am so glad that God whispered to me to read them in that specific order as well.  as i'm laying on the beach listening to waves crash and the ocean spray come across my face, i can't help but praise God for his stunning creations.

a rentless God full of an uncomprehensive love and a beautiful portrayal of heaven was the perfect supplement to basking in the sun and soaking in the fresh salt water that was created just for me.

whether you are in the presence of God's great oceans, or you're in the presence of God's great cities, take it all in and praise Him for it.

to the moon and back-
casey
